Garu stood with a rather solumn expression in front of a large board. On the board were numerous little planks with mission names. On some of the planks were little bands with words like "new" or "danger" to give a bit more info about it. Many things were passing through Garu's mind while he looked at the the boards, but the over tone seemed to be one of nervousness. Of course having it did help a bit now that he had a weapon by his side he could trust. Tsuki just seemed to give a calming air how she carried herself.
The next step in his plan was to prove himself to be trustworthy and valuable to the student population and even more so the faculty. In order to do this he would need to take a few missions with partners. With a deep sigh of nervousness he took a mission requiring at least two other teams to join him. "Well this is gonna be fun." he commented dryly.

Laura fairly skipped down the hall to the Mission Bulletin. Her first mission! This was her chance to prove herself, to show everyone that she and her weapon make a great team! (I can't believe that Abby trusts me to pick out a mission. This is so exciting!)
She elbowed a couple students out of her way and inspected the Mission Board. "Let's see here....." she muttered under her breath. "Nothing too dangerous, we're noobs at this after all. Hmmmmm...... Oh! Here's a good one!" She quickly signed Abby and herself up for the three-team mission, not paying any attention to the other names on the list. (This is gonna be so great!)

"C'mon Karma! We gotta get a mission, we can't fall behind already!" A blue-clad girl bounced down the hallway with her partner in tow, shoving other students out of the way as she made her way to the mission board. She skidded to a halt, staring at the board. "Now, Daddy said to start small, but I don't know! I'm a pretty big star. You should probably choose so we don't get in trouble. Make sure it's not too easy though, 'kay? Her eyes were automatically attracted to one that read 'dangerous', but she knew deep down she couldn't do it. Letting Karma choose would save her the embarrassment of signing up for something that wouldn't show off their true abilities. ((Sorry it fails, I'm in a hurry~))

Many things were rushing through Tsuki's head. It had been a confusing last week. How many people could say their meister is a witch after all? Let alone a good one! But was he really good? Or was it just an act? There were alot of questions she had about it all. She saw he was a good person at heart. But they said the road to hell is paved with good intentions. And even in her flash she saw him lose his temper. It was kinda scary even though he was a child when it happened. After all, alot had happened between then and now.
However she trusted herself enough to believe her gut instinct about him. He seemed to be a good person every time she was around at the very least. "I hope you picked a good one at the very least." she said with a small smile and playful push. He barely moved from it though. When she tooka a look at it she said "Three team?"

Clawing her way through the crowd, Karma had a hard time keeping up with her meister. She alternated between yelling at Sayuri to slow down and at others in the hallway to get out of her way. Finally catching up to Sayuri, her meister told her to pick out their first mission.
"Didn't I say earlier that you should pick the mission?" Karma sighed. Mentally crossing out all the missions labeled dangerous, she randomly picked one out, not really paying attention to the details. Or the names already written on it. "There you go. Just sign us up and get me out of here. Too many people..."

The following day they were to gather at the office of the current Shingami for mission briefing. Bow there was something for Garu to be nervous about. He had heard a bit about him and the two gun girls from his father. The shinigami was clever, if a bit...odd. He had to proceed with caution.
The wolf witch was more than a little bit nervous. With his weapon by his side, he made his way to the famous room. Clouds drifted lightly aroung the room that seemed to give a large middle finger to physics.
In front of him stood a man in a black robe and skull mask. On either ride of him was a girl in a suit and cowboy hats.

Laura skipped down the hall to the Death Room, dragging Abby along behind. "Come ON! We need to be early to make a good impression!" (Oh man oh man oh man oh man! First mission! We're gonna kick BUTT! Plus, we'll get to show those other pairs how much better we are!)
She ran up to the platform. "We're HERE! Best team ever Laura and Abby, ready for our mission!" She grinned in expectation. "So, what're we doing?" Then she saw the other weapon/meister team already there. (Hey, it's that Gary guy from homeroom. Looks like he found himself a weapon! Good for him.)

"AUNTIE LIZ! AUNTIE PATTY! KID-SAMA!" Sayuri barrelled into the Death Room, practically making a flying leap to glomp Patty. She backed off immediately, and then gave a little bow to the current Shinigami.
"Hi~!" She chirped, keeping her head down. She was so excited for her first mission, ready to live up to her dad's greatness. She looked up, and saw who else was there. The two girls she knew from their class, that Garu guy, and a little girl she didn't know. She seemed to be his partner. What a mismatch! She's so tiny, and he's HUGEE! She turned back, waiting for Karma to join her, so they could be breifed. This is so exciting! She could hardly keep from jumping up and down, spinning around in circles. "Come on, Karma, hurry up! And put a smile on for the love of all things good!"

When Laura burst in the room, Liz and the shinigami raised their eyebrow. Meanwhile, Patty just laughed and slapped her legs at the sight. Her laugh continued until Sayuri came in when all three burst in to smiles before Patty started laughing again.
Tsuki on the other hand took a look at her partner and then stood silently at attention, hands behind her back and feet pointed forward. Perhapes the best thing to do was to was to be on the reserved side. She looked at he partner and took his hand to calm him down a bit. She gave him a smile before looking back ahead.

Finally entering the Death Room, Karma saw the Thompson sister and Death the Kid. Her mother being good friends with them, and because she didn't have any manners really, she merely nodded to them, saying, "Long time no see."
Realizing that they weren't the only ones there, the scythe saw that Abby, Laura, Garu, and... Tsuki was there, too? She noticed the small girl holding Garu's hand. Had that idiot actually taken her earlier comment about Tsuki being his girlfriend seriously? "What are you doing here, 'gentleman'?" she hissed at him.
It was then she remembered reading a tiny part of the mission she'd picked out. It was a three team mission. She'd neglected to look at the names already on the list... "You can't mean I have to go on a mission with you!!"

Abby frowned a little at Laura's outburst. Sure, she wanted to seem ready, but this was pure overconfidence. Typical of her incorrigible meister. "You idiot, we're only one-stars. Now be quiet before they decide you're too crazy for this mission." Abby hissed in Laura's ear.
She was pleasantly surprised about who they would be sharing the mission with. Karma and Sayuri seemed like a capable pair, and she was sure Garu found just the right weapon to resonate with. After all, they were holding hands, so they must be doing rather well. Although, Karma seemd to have already taken a dislike to Garu. They hadn't talked to each other much during homeroom, so something must have happened since then. {I wonder what it was.}

Garu frowned at the hostility he recieved from Karma. It disappointed him alot that he recieved such animosity even when he wasn't an openly known witch. As much as he wanted to stike back with a verbally crippling statement when Tsuki took his hand he blushed a bit and refrained. He wasn't exactly use to the whole human contact stuff. "I'm on the mission too. Listen I'm sorry if I've been giving you a bad impression but I'm not really used to being around people. If we're gonna work together the least we could do is be civil. How about we start over?" Might as well act like a gentleman. After all, a gentleman didn't mention the giant splintery pole up her ass.
However, Garu seemed to be on the same page as The Shinigami on Laura. She did seem rather...loud and excitable. There was something that reminded him of a cartoon about her. Not like a loony toon. More of those exagurated villians from 90's toons. But he just gave them all a polite nod and looked to the front.
It was then that Kid cleared his throat to gather their attention. "Please look ahead so I may give you your mission" Once everyone did he went on. "I'd like to thank you all for volunteering. Some of you I know, some of you I don't, regardless I hope that you all find your experiance at this school enjoyable." Liz stared ahead as patty tried to figure out why the nearest cloud looked like a piggy. "Your missionis a trio of kishin in Morocco. These three have been abducting people from the market place of Casablanca The only discrpition we have is that the trio are clothed heavily and one wears yellow, one wears red, and one wears blue."

Laura could tell that some of the people in the room thought she was an idiot because of her outburst, most notably the Shinigami. (Whatever. They'll see how great I am after this mission is over.) She started grinning again after Kid told them the mission parameters. She knew that this wouldn't be a challenge for her. After all, she and Abby had been practicing for months! Sure, they'd never seen actual combat, but how hard could it be? Besides, she'd been playing videogames her whole life, and this had to be pretty much the same thing.
After the plane trip to Morocco, Laura had a serious case of the hypers. Sitting still for hours on end really wasn't her thing. She was definitely ready to get the mission started. "So, what should we do?" she asked the group in general. "Gather information, make a plan of attack, what?"

Sayuri could hardly sit still during the plane ride. She kept toying with her hair, annoying Karma, and trying to start conversations, which probably annoyed everyone else. She burst out in random pep talks that only lasted one or two sentances. "We can do this you guys!" and "Don't worry, we'll be AWESOME!" She aready had her black mission outfit on: a black turtleneck with one sleeve, the other torn off to show the star tattoo, simple black pants, and black stilettos.
Sayuri practically leapt off the plane, squealing with delight. She spun around, taking in the exotic city. "I'm so excited! Laura, Garu, I hope you're ready, 'cuz I'm the great assassain Sayuri Star, and I will be the best on this mission!" She grinned at them, and grabbed her partner's arm. "We should go to the marketplace, ask around! Maybe scope out some cute guys!"

Tsuki smiled politely and mostly kept to herself like her partner. In fact the two stayed together on the plane. He even let her have the window seat. It made her smile a bit. He had to have some sort of feeling towards her it looked like. He wouldn't have offered the window seat, right.
She smiled and started to knit a scarf for Garu. It looked like he really didn't have much in the way of winter stuff. If she had anything to do with that that status wouldn't last very long. The blue and black wool trailed on the flooras her nettles flew at a fluid work pace. At the very least she could be constructive with her time.
