It was lunch time and the sun was laughing high in the sky. Tsuki was sitting on a plaid blanket in a clearing in the woods. She snuck out during lunch to get some alone time to themselves. The air blew softly through her black hair and she had an open bento box in front of her half filled with rice.
The weapon looked at the badge that said "Weapon" on her shirt. During home room they were handed out to all those without partners they could resonate with. Tsuki hadn't found a single person she could with yet. And truth be told it was tiering trying and failing with each resonance. She sincerely hoped the situation would resolve itself soon, she didn't want to have come this far just to be sent home. How awful would that be! How could she every explain it to the others!

Karma took a deep breath as she headed outside. Free at last for lunch! There was no way she was going to stay in the crowded school when she could stay outside on her own.
Best part about lunch: Sayuri's cooking. One of the only advantages to being her weapon was enjoying the girl's cooking. Heading out to her favorite place at the school, lunch in hand, Karma spotted a small girl with black hair. She took my spot... Karma grumbled silently.
"Uh... Hi there..." she began. The scythe noticed a badge on the girl's shirt that read "Weapon". Apparently, she still didn't have a partner. Could that have been Karma had Sayuri not been around? "You're, um, kinda in my spot..."

Tsuki blinked not sure what else to do. He had no idea this had belonged to anyone, let alone someone as intimidating as this girl. So she gathered her stuff and prepared to leave.
"I'm sorry ma'am I had no idea. It's just such a lovely spot! I-I-I'll leave at once." she bowed to apologize and made her way to take her exit.

She looks so young, Karma thought to herself. One of her weaknesses were kids. She couldn't be mean to them if she tried. "You know, you can stay. It's not like I own the place..."
The scythe took a seat on the ground and opened her lunch. "You're a weapon, too, huh? Don't worry, if I can get a partner, you can too," she told the girl in an unusually kind voice. "Hey, how old are you anyway?"

Tsuki smiled a bit and bowed again. "Thank you ma'am." he stood up straight and sat down as gracefully as possible. She returned to her lunch silently and watched the other girl.
She seemed intense...but kind in her own way. It wasn't her first time dealing with people like that. Takio was alot like that. Takio was the kid back at the temple nearest her age. Her and Takio would often argue. But that was what families did. When it came down to it, they loved and cared for each other alot.
"Oh!" she said a bit surprised that she wanted to talk to her. "Yes, I'm a khakkhara. What about you?" She sincerely hoped she was right about finding someone to resonate with her. "I'm 15." she said with a smile. She had to be kind back.

Watching as the girl sat down, Karma saw how lady-like she was. Unlike herself. Her mother had tried for years to turn her into a lady with no success. "Uh, I'm a scythe," she replied after the girl told her what kind of weapon she was.
Taking a drink of soda, she heard the girl say, "I'm 15." Coughing and sputtering, the scythe stared at her in disbelief. They were the same age?! How was that even possible?!

Garu sat from the lofty bows of a tree and had been listening to the wind and noises of the woods when the weapons started to congrigate beneth him. He just couldn't seem to escape could he? He came out here to calm himself down. He wasn't good at magic but he knew enough to help him survive. Soul protect was a very useful spell for what it was worth.
Under him the two girls talked about things being weapons and all that. Blah blah blah. Though personlly he sorta liked the smaller girl more so far. Thyere was just something about her. He felt kind of bad spying on thim, for it was very ungentleman like of him. But smelling the food at least helped a bit with his overwhelming hunger.

Scyth? What a cool weapon to be! A very utilitarian one at that. Tsuki secretly wished she was something that cool. As for stealth, forget it, that type of weapon was made to make noise. It was frusterating at times.
She drank a thermos full of hot green tea. It tasted good and went smoothly down her throat. Helping to soothe hernervousness and anxiety away "And what of you? Ms..." she trailed off waiting for a response. She didn't know this persons name yet.

Karma mentally slapped herself. She had been talking to this girl and hadn't even introduced herself. "Karma Evans," she answered. "I'm... also 15..." She still couldn't believe they were the same age. The other girl looked so young!
Suddenly, an odd sensation overcame the scythe. The same feeling she'd had back in the classroom. Like something was wrong. And these feelings of hers were usually right. But she didn't want to make the girl next to her more nervous than she already was. So she casually asked, "What's your name?" as she inconspicuously glanced around for the source of her unease.

Garu watched silently from above the scene. He breathed small shallow breaths, not wanting to be caught. After all, it would be rather awkward to be caught and or fall down into the scene. In order to prevent this Garu clung tightly to the tree limb.
Unfortunately fate had other plans. Damn fate. The tree cracked under his weight, snapping and falling, taking Garu along with him. Damn everything, his cover was blown and dispite all his scrambling he couldn't help but fall, nearly breaking his arm with a yelp as he landed between the two girls.

Tsuki nodded her head politely at Karma. "My name is Kitsunemada Tsuki." she said introducing herself in the proper Japanese form. Being polite was essencial to successful public relations after all. This Karma seemed on edge herself. Was she the cause for this She looked at him with large innocent green eyes.
Above her a large crack sounded. She let out a frightened squeek as a rather odd looking boy landed in front of her sending the food flying every where. "Are you all right?" She asked, tossing the log away with her suprising strength. The badge on him said meister. But she couldn't worry about it now. He could be seriously hurt!

Introductions finally having gotten out of the way, Karma heard a deafening crack from above. She snapped her head up to see a familiar boy fall out of the tree, the limb he clung to falling along with him. Garu... the one who gave her weird vibes.
Food flew everywhere, some landing in her lap and on her face. Irritably wiping the food away, she glared at the boy. "Why the hell were you even up there??!! You're almost as bad as my grandpa!!" Karma watched Tsuki throw away the tree branch with incredible strength and went white in the face. She looked that young... but was insanely strong? Things just keep getting weirder and weirder... she thought. "Who cares if he's hurt?! Serves him right for spying, the little creep!"

Garu groaned a bit as he shook the fall off. It took the wind out of him a bit. He felt bad that he made the one smaller girl a bit worried. He didn't mean to, he didn't want her to either. It just seemed he was more or less doomed to scare people. But he had to try at the very least. "Yes, I'm fine thank you for your concern. I appologize for disterbing you both." He was pulled up by the girl.
Garu snorted diresively at Karma "I am offended by your insinuation. I came out here to be alone. You two, just showed up. I didn't want to startle you both , so I stayed quite. Spying, as is name calling would be uncouth for a gentleman such as myself to partake in such an event."

Tsuki helped him back up with a little effort. When his skin contacted her two things happened. The first was she felt a jolt. She had no idea why, but there was an energy about him, somthing she couldn't place. But it felt good.
The second was something a bit more...sinister, if that was the right word. Her eyes clouded over in a milky white. In her mind a scene started to play. That boy, it looked like a younger version of him. He was taking rocks instead of an old dog. The kids called him names for protecting the old flea bitten dog. This was making the boy angry. He let out a roar and snow started falling like a flurry. Then the image cut away as soon as it appeared.
She sook off the vision. Was he a witch? Was that why he felt...odd. He was a good person though...right?

Karma couldn't believe how nice Tsuki was being to Garu. He'd been spying on them and had flung their lunches everywhere. Her stomach growled. Fantastic, she thought. Just peachy. Now I can't eat 'til dinner... It was laughable how he kept trying to act all innocent after his massive nosebleed in the classroom and having been caught snooping where he wasn't welcome.
"Right, you're a gentleman and I'm a perfect, pink-loving lady. Admit it, you were spying! Spying is exactly the kind of event a pervert would partake in!" Karma eyed the food splattered everywhere. "If you really are a gentleman, get us some lunch to replace the food you ruined!"
