Name: Maka (Albarn) Evans
Age: 36
Birthdate: May 13
Place of Birth: Death City, Nevada
Gender: female
Alliance: Lawful good
Weapon: Soul Evans
Personality:
Maka has mellowed a bit since her years attending Shibusen. Still strong willed and confident, she hasn't changed much. She hates letting others know if something is bothering her, so she often appears cheerful and bright even on bad days. She's become more tolerant of people over the years but still relies on books to understand most things.
Her family has taken top priority, and she wishes things would go back to their first days as a family. She worries for her daughter and husband as any mother and wife would, but she's concerned of a return of the Black Blood. She's happy to help out at Shibusen any time, and occasionally misses missions she used to take.

Having grown up with a disloyal father, Maka had always promised herself to never fall in love, to never depend on men. They'd simply throw her away once they got bored of her. But living under the same roof with Soul, it was difficult to say she wasn't at least a little attracted to him. Mix together boy, girl, and teenage hormones and what do you get? A teenage romance!
Though she was always on her guard, Soul began to make Maka trust men. She ended up giving in and accepting her feelings for her weapon, no longer afraid of becoming like her parents. She was not her mother and Soul was not her father, simple as that. Of course, Spirit was not at all happy when Soul proposed to his daughter only moments after their graduation ceremony. But nothing relieves tension between son- and father-in-law like grandchildren.
Maka insisted that Soul name their daughter. He decided on Karma to match her father's and grandfather's names. Things were simple and easy until Soul's Black Blood returned. While arguing with the imp inside his head, Soul accidentally slapped Maka. She knew nothing would be the same from then on. After hurting Karma, he ran away, Maka close behind. He insisted that they would be better off without him and that he could hurt them more or even kill them. And with that, he left her alone to take care of their four-year-old daughter.
About a year ago, her husband returned. He doesn't live at the house because Maka insists Karma stay home on the weekends, and he knows his daughter hates him. The husband and wife haven't spent much time together since he returned, so she worries about him often.
Powers:
Witch Hunt: a traditional attack used by scythe meisters. The head of the scythe takes on the shape of a crescent moon. It normally sends a single wave attack towards the enemy, but there are variations.
Majin Hunt: a special attack inherited by her mother, this is an upgraded version of the Witch Hunt. The head of the scythe looks more like a halberd-like blade than a scythe. It carries an Anti-Demon Wavelength that erases evil.
Soul Perception: the ability to 'perceive' a living person's soul. Maka's is more sensitive than her friends and has recently gained the ability to see through a witch's Soul Protect.
Maka Chop: not quite as commonly used as in her younger years, Maka still uses a thick book or dictionary to smash directly into an annoying person's head. Not quite an ability, but it's unique to Maka.
Strengths: loyal, confident, intelligent, enthusiastic, caring
Weaknesses: impatient, self-conscious, sensitive about her abilities, trusting to a fault, overly protective
Sample Post:
“Soul?! Soul!! Please, I'm begging you, don't go!!” She ran after him as fast as she could. Tripping over a tree root, she fell to the ground. Reaching a hand out to his figure disappearing into the forest, she finally let the tears fall. Her ankle hurt. She knew she'd twisted it bad. But her heart hurt worse. “Don't leave me!!”
Maka woke with a start. Another dream... another nightmare... Catching her breath, she sat up in bed. He was home, safe in Death City. He'd visit her occasionally, but not for long. He always seemed distant. To her, it felt like losing him all over again. Throwing open the curtains, the meister stared at the colossal building that was Shibusen. That's where it had all started...
The clock on her wall said it was nearly eleven. She hadn't slept in for the longest time. She smiled at the school, thinking of her daughter and her unofficial niece. It reminded her that she and Tsubaki should go shopping together sometime. “Dinner with their family would be nice. We haven't done that in years...” she thought out loud. She saw a picture frame with their first family portrait in it. Picking it up, she ran her hand along the glass and whispered, “We can go back, can't we? Things aren't broken... beyond repair, right...?”
