Anya stared in amazement at the many bookshelves that lined the walls of the Library. Never before had she seen a collection of books this vast. Of course, it didn’t matter how many books there were, as long as they had that certain one. Not long before, the weapon lost her copy of I, Strahd. Without it, it felt like part of her was missing. Some other students had told her that Shibusen’s library held an incredible amount of books, so if she was to look for another copy of it anywhere, that was the place to go.
Anya felt overwhelmed. It could take hours to find what she was looking for. [red]“Maybe if I could get some help…”[/red] she murmured to herself, scanning the room. Unfortunately, she was the only one around. Sighing, she thought, I’m not going to get anywhere just sitting around! Let’s start searching!
After half an hour of looking, with no luck whatsoever, the blonde was about to give up. She began walking towards the door when a flash of red caught her eye. [red]“Could it be…?”[/red] She ran over to the self where a book with a red cover sat tightly between two other books. [red]“It is!”[/red] she shouted happily. She tried to pull it out but for some reason couldn’t.
[red]“Of course. The moment I find it, I find out it’s stuck. I’m not going to let this all go in vain!”[/red] she declared, attempting once more to get it out with the same result as before. [red]“Come on stupid book! Work with me!”[/red] She yanked at it multiple times before it finally came out. [red]“Yes!”[/red] It was only then that an avalanche of book fell on top of her. To make matters worse, the book fell out of her hand and slid across the floor away from her. Threw the hill of books, her call for help could barely be heard. [red]“Someone?! Anyone?! Help me out here! Urg… Today is not my day…”[/red]
