1. Please fill out the character form. You may add new categories if you think it’ll help accept your character, but all the categories asked for here are needed.
2. Simply make a new thread and post your profile under the board “Pending"
3. Please don’t argue if we ask you to tweak your character. Yes, you may point out something or tell us if you think we’re not being fair. But please just don’t argue.
4. If there are some adult content in your character’s history, do NOT detail it. You may simply say it happened to them, but don’t give descriptive details.
5. Be detailed. This is important. For personality, I don’t want to see “nice”. Or “fun but may be quiet at times”. I want to see at least one nicely detailed paragraph.
6. If you’re applying for a canon character who doesn’t have their personality and/or history revealed yet, make it up. I don’t want to see any “nobody knows” or “unclear”. If nobody does know, feel free to say that. But also continue and explain the character. How are you supposed to RP someone with an unclear personality?
7. Spell check. I don’t care if there are two words that aren’t spelled correctly, but I will reject if there are a lot. Really, all you have to do is spell check it. It’s not that hard.
8. If the canon you want is taken, tough luck. Don’t post the profile as you’ll be rejected no matter how good it is. You may RP him/her in the free-play board, however.
9. Be active. If you have an original character and not active in two months, your character will be moved to the “inactive” list. If you RP a canon character, it’s a month and two weeks. If you have a good reason why, feel free to PM me and I wouldn’t move your character. If you played an inactive canon and came back to find someone else already roleplaying your character, tough luck. No, you wouldn’t be able to have him/her back. However, if you came back and nobody was RPing your character, you can.
10. Try and be creative.
11. There is no limit of how much powers your character can have. However, don't make him/her too powerful. If he/she is too powerful, the profile will be rejected. You should know what's too powerful and what's not.
12. If you want your character to be related to a canon, you've got to apply. Why? Because I don't want Tsubaki with ten long-lost siblings. The way you apply is simple: include in the character's profile the following:
-Why is it important for that character to be related to a canon? Does it have any impact on their personality? Why can't they just be a normal character?
-How would you & your character contribute to the plot/site if he/she does get to be related to said canon? Basically, why should we choose you?
Keep in mind that the person RPing the canon WILL also have a say in this. If he/she does not want you to be related to their character, you wouldn't.
13. I will be much harder on canons. Therefore, if you want to RP a canon, post a roleplaying sample along with their profile. If you don't, your character will not be accepted. The sample HAS to be of said canon so I know how you RP him/her.
If you have any questions or suggestions of something else to be added here, please PM me and tell me.
